Startups by Westside Leadership Institute is an exclusive 12-month course designed for graduate leaders who have completed the Fundamentals and/or Workshops programs. In this course, students access advanced training, peer mentoring, and coaching that builds sustainable models for social change. The course is offered annually and is completely free of charge.

Through Startups, you will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to develop sustainable social change models. You will be paired with a mentor and receive added support from subject experts through regularly scheduled workshops. The curriculum includes program design and evaluation, organizational performance and evaluation, nonprofit organizational development, fundraising, and data collection. Upon completion of this course, you will have the tools to lead your organization towards a sustainable future, creating long-lasting impact in your community.
